TÜV SÜD America Inc. announced that Mr. Dirk Schroeter, Product Manager, Industry Service, will present "Practical Application of the PBC ASME A17.7/CSA B44.7" as part of the roundtable discussion scheduled on September 13, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. at the NAEC 62nd Annual Convention & 2011 Expo.

The discussion will cover the following topics:

• How to apply the Performance-Based Code (PBC) in practice using an example
• Explanation of the Accredited Elevator Certification Organization (AECO) Certification Process
• Brief introduction of other ASME A17.1 certification processes

Held this year in New Orleans, Louisiana, the convention provides a venue for information exchange among experts in the elevator industry. The TÜV SÜD exhibit can be found at Booth 743 during the event. The convention will take place on September 11-15 with the exposition open September 14 and 15.
