Thermal Shock Module

TYPICAL OPERATIONAL SEQUENCE

• Roll TSM into position under the AGREE Chamber.
• Connect electric power and 80 PSI filtered, clean, oil-free air to TSM.
• Position moving platform in cold position and load in unit under test.
• Close the chamber door and precondition cold and hot chambers (approx. 2hrs). Cold temp is supplied by AGREE refrigeration system.
• System switch on TSM panel is energized and Wallow Programmer/Controller initiates the cycle.
• Moving platform is lowered to the hot position - transfer time is 3-5 seconds (adjustable).
• Moving platform will remain in hot position for required time.
• Moving platform is raised to cold position and held for the programmed time.
• This cycle pattern will continue under the command of the programmer/controller.
• The moving platform and the unit under test will be in the cold chamber position at the end of the final cycle.
• Cold chamber temperature will be reduced to ambient by AGREE heater, chamber door is opened and unit under test will be removed.
